The Duck Lodge could be a pleasant experience if personnel were on site and if meals were served as indicated in their website. The rooms were small and not much room to put luggage. I slept in my sleeping bag because I was not sure the sheets and blankets had been laundered. As an older traveler experienced with tent camping, I wish we had pitched our tent on the property.

Babb's main advantage is its proximity to the Many Glacier...

Babb's main advantage is its proximity to the Many Glacier and Lake Mary entrances of Glacier National Park. There are a few restaurants in the area where you can get a good meal, but that's about it. There might be fishing or hunting in the area, but those aren't our preferred activities. Babb is also close to Browning which is the center of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. However, the museum wasn't open the day we wanted to go, and the art gallery was closed for the summer.

Babb is Glacier National Park's east gateway to Many Glaciers. Close (9 miles) to St. Mary's east gate to Going to the Sun road (which was closed at the 13 miles marker until June 29, 2019 for road repair). Relatively uncrowded this time of year

Montana’s Duck Lake Lodge is an excellent location to stay especially if you are planning to visit Glacier National Park. The staff is exceptional, food delicious and it has a super fun “hostel” feel to it! It was nice to mingle with folks from all over the U.S. It was also a lot more personal than the Glacier Park Collection hotel and motel stays.

If you consider that this is a 1 star (basic accommodations) hotel, it is truly outstanding for it's class. The whole place was super clean, simply but nicely furnished, and the owner was always so cheerful and helpful. Also the food available was not fancy but was still tasty and well presented. It was also a very quiet location.

Its not a hotel, it’s a lodge with shared facilities. I knew that prior to booking. Having stayed in similar before I judged it on that basis. The best one I have stayed at. Restaurant and bar on premises, helpful friendly staff. I would stay there again and will recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Comfort home run hotel. Great location very close to east side of many glacier. Clean, beautiful and huge backyard where you can hike and see lots of animals. The owner also gave us a free bear spray when we were planning to hiking in her backyard. Her free homemade cookies are yummy! Would stay here again.

The location is great for the Saint Mary and Many Glacier entrances to Glacier NP, avoiding an hour's drive from East Glacier Village or Browning, which matters if you want to start hiking at 7am. It's also not far from the excellent Two Sisters restaurant.

Great location and easy access to the East side of Glacier as well as Alberta. All of the women working there were wonderful, including the owner. Will definitely come back when I visit Babb again!

Excellent location, very quiet and pretty with the lake at sunset. The food in this hotel is definitely plus. Haven’t had good breakfast or lunch in Glacier for days.

I like the location which is close to Many glacier and also St Mary entrance. The hotel is quiet. It has adequate parking with a dining room. The wifi works well.
